Aleron is Hiring an Operations Manager Near Amherst, NY
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of staff, including supervisors and associates, to ensure they perform their duties effectively and efficiently. Autonomy to recruit, select, train, and coaching employees
- Inventory Management: Implement and oversee inventory control processes, including receiving, storage, and order fulfillment, to minimize errors and maintain accurate stock levels.
- Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, streamline operations, and implement best practices to increase overall efficiency.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all activities comply with safety regulations and protocols and implement safety training for staff to maintain a safe work environment.
- Resource Management: Manage resources, including labor, equipment, and space, to optimize the allocation and utilization of assets.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and metrics to track and measure performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Supplier/Vendor Relationships to include Account Management: Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and efficient receipt of goods and materials. Effectively create new SKUs in the Management System (WMS) to support product expansion and maintain accurate inventory records. Prioritize and fulfill special requests from clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
- Cost Control: Manage and control operational costs within budgetary constraints.
- Other Duties as Assigned: Willingness to adapt and take on additional tasks or responsibilities as required to support the dynamic needs of the operations team and the organization.

- 5 years in supply chain management or logistics role
